Permit Pulled to Begin Construction on new CVS at Nobscot Village D.F. Pray has pulled a permit valued at $1,950,650 to being construction on a new CVS at 774 Water Street in Framingham. The permit calls for new ground-up structural steel with a pre-engineered metal roof truss. The new CVS is part of the planned $43.5 million redevelopment of the shopping plaza that would include around 160 residential units and 25,000 square feet of commercial space.


Babcock Place

Plumbing Permit Pulled for Babcock Place With work underway for the building's concrete core, a plumbing permit has also been issued for the Babcock Place development in Brookline. The upcoming 5-story building will feature 62 apartments along with parking for 31 cars. Units within the building will range in size from studios through 3 bedrooms and 16 will be designated affordable.

120 Commerce Way Secures $75.4M Construction Loan The upcoming multifamily project at 120 Commerce Way in Woburn has secured a $75,400,000.00 construction loan via Wells Fargo Banks. The project is set to include  289 luxury apartments along with 9,390 square-feet of commercial restaurant and retail space on the ground floor.

Framing Nearly Complete for Viva Lakeshore in Bridgewater Framing is nearly complete for the 2 building project, Viva Lakeshore in Bridgewater. The first building has reached full height and the second building has reached the top floors. The development will feature 300 apartments total along with amenities including 2 pools, a fitness center, and a playground. The first phase of the project is expected to open this fall. The Cove Hingham

Final Touches Wrapping Up for The Cove Hingham Landscaping work is wrapping up and the final touches are nearly complete on the remaining units at The Cove in Hingham which welcomed first residents earlier this year. The two-building project features 220 units in total, ranging in size from 628 square foot one-bedrooms through 1,750 square foot three-bed, two-bathroom homes. Amenities include a clubroom and media lounge, a Sky lounge complete with an outdoor terrace, a fitness center, a resort-style pool, and a co-working lounge. 


The Residences at Cross Point

Exterior Work Nearly Complete for The Residences at Cross Point Exterior work is wrapping up for The Residences at Cross Point in Lowell. The 240 unit building will include a courtyard green space, a fitness center, and a swimming pool. Norwood Complex Sells for $103.6 Million Cottonwood Communities has acquired One Upland in Norwood, MA for $103.6 million from The property features a 262-unit new-construction apartment community spread across seven buildings completed in September 2016. One Upland features one-, two and three-bedroom units. Communal amenities at One Upland include a clubhouse featuring a billiards room and a fitness center, a swimming pool and a lawn with a fireplace, a movie amphitheater, and dog parks. The property also features access to wooded trails on which to bike, walk or run.


BLVD at Revere Beach

The project will feature 145 modern apartments along with 2,500 square feet of retail space on the first floor for Bianchi’s and a coffee shop, which formerly stood on the site. Siding & Window Install Ongoing for Hanover Mystic River Siding is going up and windows are being installed across the 5-story mixed-use project at 61 Locust Street in Medford. Hanover Mystic River will feature 350 luxury apartments along with nearly 6,000 square feet of retail space. The building is organized around two inter-connected courtyards and a parking garage that is wrapped by residential units on all four sides, completely concealing its 400 parking spaces. Resident amenities will include a clubhouse and outdoor pool.

The new building is set to include 211 modern apartments along with 2,750 square feet of commercial space. The luxury project is also set to offer residents amenities such as a resort-inspired pool, state-of-the-art fitness center, bike repair station, and large exterior courtyard.

The site is within walking distance of the Anderson RTC commuter rail station. 


Northland Newton Development

Newton Residents Vote YES on Northland's 22+ Acre Development Newton residents voted in favor of the Northland Newton project Tuesday night, with 58% of voters supporting the mixed-use development. As approved by the city council in December 2019, the project will include  800 housing units (140 of which will be affordable), 180,000 square feet of office space and 115,000 square feet of commercial space. Plans also call for 10 acres of open space including 8 new parks plus a mobility hub that will offer free electric shuttle service to the Newton Highlands MBTA Station.
