The $1.1M permit also calls for parking at the rear of the property. The project site is located just a few blocks from Field's Corner.

Apartments will include studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom configurations and will range from 600 to 900 square feet. 40-unit Dorchester condo development receives final approval A 40-unit condominium development in Dorchester’s Edward Everett Square, 1258-1272 Massachusetts Avenue, has received all necessary approvals to move forward with construction. The City of Boston’s Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) approved the project at Tuesday (December 6th, 2016) night’s meeting. The building is located next to the recently-opened Dorchester Brewing Company. Construction is expected to commence in Spring 2017.

BPDA approves 1258-1272 Massachusetts Avenue, 40 new Dorchester apartments, for construction At last night's board meeting, the Boston Planning & Development Agency (BPDA) approved 1258-1272 Massachusetts Avenue for construction. Located in Dorchester, the $12.5 million 1258-1272 Massachusetts Avenue will consist of two new six-story mixed-use buildings containing 40 residential rental apartments, including five affordable units, and approximately 1,500 square feet of ground-floor retail. 1258-1272 Massachusetts Avenue will now go before the Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) for review. Construction of 1258-1272 Massachusetts Avenue could commence this year.
