Since 1981 Galaxy has developed residential and commercial properties throughout the five boroughs. Headed by Steve Zervoudis, Galaxy has become a prominent developer, contractor, and manager of low and moderate income housing. Over the past 34 years, Galaxy has rehabilitated or constructed approximately 235 buildings with almost 6,500 units, as well as numerous two, three, and four family homes. Many of the projects completed by Galaxy involved rehabilitation of apartment buildings (both occupied and vacant), and construction of new apartments and commercial space. Over 85 projects were complete gut-renovations. In 2008 Steve and his four sons established Galaxy G.C. Group LLC. Galaxy G.C. Group acts as a General Contractor, while Galaxy General Contracting Corp. focuses on constructing company owned real-estate developments. Each project has a principal and a lead manager, with a dedicated and diverse staff who work closely with the owners, government agencies, and design team to deliver a completed project meeting all your needs.
