1.8 Million SF of Development Under Review for Charlestown Waterfront
has filed a planned development area report for the redevelopment of 425 Medford Street in Charlestown.
The 8-building project will create 1,836,500 SF of floorspace across a new neighborhood along the Charlestown waterfront. The project will feature 1,050,000 SF of residential space, 500,000 SF+ of life science/lab space, 115,000 SF of hotel space, and 90,000 SF of ground-floor retail space. Amenities include a 6,500 SF community pavilion.
