100+ Unit Affordable Project Proposed Along Sligo Ave. in Silver Spring
Green Street Housing & TM Associates have filed a concept plan for a 102 unit affordable housing development along Sligo Avenue. The property’s three lots are currently comprised of a vacant one-story brick commercial building, an aging two-story brick single-family home, and the largest of the three lots has essentially been used as a storage yard and dumping ground for a number of years. The new 5 story building would include a mix of 1 through 3 bedroom homes along with 1,535 square feet allocated to a community outreach center, and 61 parking spaces.
