110 Unit Senior Living Project Proposed in Cambridge
B’nai B’rith Housing is planning an affordable, age-restricted community at 87-101 Blanchard Road in Cambridge. Plans call for 110, 1 bedroom apartments. The site in the Cambridge Highlands neighborhood is a 3.2-acre parcel with three existing buildings and surface parking lots. The proposed building is located in the northwest corner of the site where BBH Community Development has a condominium interest in a nearly one-acre site occupied by an existing 2-story former retail strip mall. The vacant commercial building will be razed for the new residential building. The two existing four-story residential buildings will remain.
