200+ Affordable Units Planned for Rockville Site
Fairstead has submitted updated project plans for a multifamily project at 12500 Ardennes Avenue in Rockville. As reported on BLDUP, the developer acquired the site in June for $14,250,000. Previous plans for the 1.3-acre site, approved in 2019 called for up to 225 units. Now Fairstead has proposed a 7-story multifamily project to include 213 residences, all designated affordable. All of the units will be low-income tax credit units and 25% of these units will be designated MPDUs.
