200+ New Units Approved at Crystal Towers
The Arlington Planning Commission has approved plans for 2 new buildings at the Crystal Towers Apartments along South Eads Street. The new development will include an 11-story multifamily building featuring 209 units and a single-story retail building with roughly 28,000 square feet of space. The new buildings will replace existing surface parking lots. The Planning Commission did express concern regarding the creation of a "superblock" and amended the approval to include further investigation of adding a mid-block crossing as part of the project.
