$220M Redevelopment Announced for Providence Superman Building

A redevelopment plan valued at $220,000,000 has been announced for 111 Westminster Street in Downtown Providence. 

"We're certainly bullish on Downtown Providence. The building has stunning architectural features and solid bones," said High Rock Development CEO David Sweetser. "We firmly believe 111 Westminster will activate Kennedy Plaza, and help bring back vibrancy to this area."

Interior demolition is scheduled to begin in September with formal plans to be filed this spring. The project call for a mixed-use rehabilitation of the former bank tower featuring 285 residential units, class-A office space, and ground-floor retail/event space facing Westminster Street and Kennedy Plaza.
