250 Unit Project Now Under Review in Southie
Jones Street Investment Partners have filed plans for a mixed-use project at 295 West First Street in South Boston. The developer is working with the Shaughnessy family, the long-time owner of the roughly 1.46-acre corner lot. The site has long been used as storage for construction equipment with a non-descript warehouse building surrounded by unimproved surface parking and loading areas. Now plans call for a mixed-use building to include 252 residential units along with 9,200 sf of ground floor community, cultural, and retail space.
