27-Story Residential Tower Tops Out in Mott Haven
General contractor, , has topped out a 27-story residential tower, at 2413 Third Avenue in the Mott Haven neighborhood of the Bronx.
Developed by , the building will be called "Maven", which is presumably a play on the words "Mott" and "Haven". It will contain rental apartments, including 60 units dedicated to affordable housing.
Plans also call for square feet of commercial space, and an enclosed parking garage with enough room for vehicles.
Tenant amenities are to include a fitness center, lounge areas, roof terraces, and outdoor areas. The parking garage will also be equipped with electric vehicle charging stations.
The project team has secured $71.2 million dollars in funding through a construction loan issued by Bank of America. Designed by , the Maven stands feet tall and totals square feet. Construction is anticipated to finish by the fourth quarter of 2023 assuming that all goes to plan.
