30+ Affordable Units Planned for Lowell East End Club Site
Local developers, Peter Marlowe and David Degan have purchased the 4 parcels owned by the East End Club of Lowell with plans for a multi-building, affordable housing project. Plans call for 3 buildings: 1) A 15 unit building of two bedroom condominiums with a parking garage underneath, 2) A building containing 10 Units of rentals with a parking garage underneath 3) a building with the first floor being devoted to the East End Club as the tenant and an ADA unit on that level and with 8 - 2 bedroom units above. Per the project filing these plans will prolong the life of the local club and the project will be constructed so that if the club no longer needs the space, this area can be converted into additional affordable units.
