34-Story Tower Completes in Downtown Brooklyn
General contractor, , has finished constructing a 34-story, mixed-use tower, located at 196 Willoughby Avenue in Downtown Brooklyn. Developed by , the structure sits on Long Island University's city campus, and is known simply as "The Willoughby".
Offering upscale apartment units, envisioned by Durukan Design, The Willoughby is primarily residential. Tenant amenities include a fitness center, lounge and co-working areas, a dog run and spa, a media room, and an outdoor terrace.
In addition to residential units, the building contains academic, athletic, and office spaces for LIU, and is connected to the university's track and soccer field. There is also a large, enclosed parking garage with enough room for vehicles.
Designed by , The Willoughby stands feet tall and totals square feet. Tenants will have fantastic views of Manhattan, and a quick commute to get there, thanks to the numerous subway lines that pass through Downtown Brooklyn.
