$360M Construction Loan Secured for Marriott Wardman Park Redevelopment
Carmel Partners has closed on a $360,000,000 construction loan for the redevelopment of the Washington Marriott Wardman Park Site in Woodley Park. Plans for the site call for 2 new buildings with a total of 900 units. The project also incorporates and enhances the existing 1.5 acre north lawn which over the years, has been made accessible to the public as a passive neighborhood amenity. Carmel Partners acquired the site in July of 2021 for $152,250,000.
