Accordia Partners Files LOI for Bayside Dorchester Project

Accordia Partners has filed a Letter of Intent for the proposed development on the 20-acre development site in Dorchester, the former location of the now-demolished Bayside Expo Center. The proposal would include 5.9 million square feet in total, approximately 3.5 million square feet of development on the UMass Boston property and approximately 2.4 million square feet of development on the 2 Morrissey Boulevard property which Accordia acquired in June 2019 for $110M. The development is proposed to include 1,460,000 square feet of residential development, around 1,740 new housing units plus, 4,006,000 square feet of office, research and development, life sciences and/or academic uses. Finally, plans would include 155,00 square feet of ground-floor retail/restaurant and or cultural/civic space.
