Baywood Hotels Acquires Hotel in Tampa’s Westshore District
Baywood Hotels has acquired the TownePlace Suites by Marriott Tampa Westshore/Airport for $15.5 million according to Hillsborough County Records. The county records also indicate that Baywood obtained a $15 million mortgage from Banesco USA. The 121 guest rooms include studios, one-, and two-bedroom suites. The hotel features a pool, fitness center and complimentary 24-hour shuttle service to Tampa International Airport. Located within minutes of Tampa International Airport in Tampa’s Westshore District, the hotel is convenient to University of Tampa, International Plaza, Westshore Mall, Raymond James Stadium, and the Channelside District.
