BPDA approves 1258-1272 Massachusetts Avenue, 40 new Dorchester apartments, for construction
At last night's board meeting, the Boston Planning & Development Agency (BPDA) approved 1258-1272 Massachusetts Avenue for construction. Located in Dorchester, the $12.5 million 1258-1272 Massachusetts Avenue will consist of two new six-story mixed-use buildings containing 40 residential rental apartments, including five affordable units, and approximately 1,500 square feet of ground-floor retail. 1258-1272 Massachusetts Avenue will now go before the Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) for review. Construction of 1258-1272 Massachusetts Avenue could commence this year.
