40 new apartments proposed for Dorchester's Edward Everett Square
Developer Douglas R. George of Dorchester has filed a Small Project Review Application (SPRA) with the Boston Redevelopment Authority (BRA) to construct two new buildings containing 40 residential rental apartments and approximately 1,500 square feet of ground-floor retail in Dorchester's Edward Everett Square at 1258-1272 Massachusetts Avenue. Construction of the $12.5 million project could commence this year, and the buildings would be completed in the fourth quarter of 2017.
