Boca Raton Shopping Center Acquired for $88.4 Million

 

 

Real estate developer Edens has acquired Shadowood Square shopping center in Boca Raton for $88.4 million. Edens plans to redevelop the property. “Shadowood is an exciting addition to EDENS’ Florida portfolio. Following on the heels of our redevelopment of Lakeside Centre in Central Boca Raton, we look forward to revitalizing and transforming this corner of West Boca in a way that resonates with the local community and reflects Boca’s unique energy and aesthetic,” said Nicole Shiman, senior vice president at EDENS. “Redevelopment plans will draw on our deeply rooted placemaking philosophy to deliver a curated and elevated destination to the Boca community.” The center which is 70% occupied, features approximately 261,000 square feet of space contained in 11 buildings. The plaza has 41 stores, including anchor Sprouts Farmers Market set to open in the last week of August 2023. Other tenants include Bed, Bath & Beyond and Best Buy. The shopping center is located at the corner of Glades Road and State Road 7 in Boca Raton.
