Construction Advancing for Cotton Annex Redevelopment
A permit has been pulled to install 2 new elevators at the Cotton Annex building that is currently being converted into multifamily. Built in 1936 by the Department of Agriculture for the classification and standardization of cotton and tobacco, the designated historic structure has been vacant for over a decade. This project includes the alteration of the existing seven-story historic building and a newly constructed thirteen-story tower. The project includes up to over 550 units with 15,000 square feet of indoor amenity space and additional courtyard and roof-level exterior amenities.
