Construction on Car Condo Development Slated to Begin
Developers will begin site work at Motocave, St. Petersburg’s first car condo development on a 3.75-acre site in the northeast section of the city, in October. Located at the corner of Gandy Boulevard and Interstate 275, Motocave will offer 43 units from 1,000-4,000 square feet. Each unit will have a 14-foot overhead door to have room for RV’s and offer a restroom, air-conditioning and a janitorial sink. Upgrades include a steel-fabricated loft and lifts to accommodate additional vehicles. A 2,178 square foot multi-story clubhouse will have space for events and will feature a covered balcony on the second story. Completion is expected to take a year.
