Sunseeker Resort Charlotte Harbor Update 10/28/22

Construction Resumes at Sunseeker Resort

Crews are back on the site and construction has restarted at Sunseeker Resort in Charlotte Harbor following a month-long delay due to damage from Hurricane Ian.  Two large cranes fell during the storm, leading to a stoppage in construction.  The cranes will be replaced within the next two weeks.  The developer, Allegiant Travel Company, anticipates the opening in Fall 2023, approximately six months later than planned prior to the storm.

Sunseeker Resort Charlotte Harbor, southwest Florida’s newest destination, will provide 785 guest rooms, including 189 Sunsuites™ and 596 premium rooms.  Guests will have access to 20 dining concepts ranging from fine dining, casual and quick service.  The resort will feature two pools, state of the art fitness center and full-service spa and salon along with 60,000 square feet of meeting and event space.  The largest ballroom features 14,000 square feet of unobstructed waterfront views.  The championship level Aileron golf club is exclusive to resort guests.
