Construction Underway at The Julia in Downtown St. Petersburg
Cranes are on site as construction has begun at The Julia, which will be located at 100 4th Avenue N. in downtown St. Petersburg. The initial plans, which called for a 24-story tower with 20 condominiums was rejected by the St. Petersburg Development Review Commission. Revised plans were submitted, The Julia will rise 19 stories, a reduction from the original planned height of 24 stores and will offer 19 residential units. Additionally, under the revised plans, the pool will be located on the rooftop and there is a wider setback between The Julia and the building next to it, the Flori de Leon. The developer has worked with the City of St. Petersburg’s Urban Planning and Historic Preservation Division to ensure the design was compatible with the Flori de Leon. Sales of the condominium began in July 2023. Completion is anticipated in 2025.
