Construction Underway on Sundial Renovations
A construction fence has been installed on the site of the Sundial in St. Petersburg as the work on the renovations has begun. Sundial owners, Ally Capital and Paradise Ventures, unveiled the plans to renovate the open-air center in the heart of downtown St. Petersburg in February 2023. The partners acquired Sundial in February 2022. Among the multi-million-dollar improvements are an updated courtyard, which would include removing the two-story sundial sculpture and six life-size dolphins that have been the centerpiece of the courtyard for the last 10 years. The redeveloped courtyard would feature an outdoor bar and café-style seating. Located within walking distance of the waterfront, the open-air center features 85,537 square-feet of retail space. Current tenants include the AMC Sundial 12 Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, Sea Salt, White House Black Market, Chico’s, Tommy Bahama, Jackie Z. Style Co., Diamonds Direct, Spice & Tea Exchange, and Man Cave.
