Construction Update: Cambridgeside Redevelopment
Work is progressing for the facade at 20 CambridgeSide with electrical, mechanic, and plumbing also underway inside the new 366,000 square foot lab/office project. The building, which is designed to meet LEED Gold & Wired Score Platinum certification, will offer a host of amenities including exterior terraces on two levels and direct access to the shops. Elsewhere on the project site interior finish work is ongoing at 60 First Street, for the 224,000-SF build-out and expansion project at the former Sears building. When complete the reimagined CambridgeSide will feature six interconnected buildings totaling 2 million square feet and includes retail, office, life science, residential, and hotel uses.
