Cotton Annex Redevelopment Tops Out
The Cotton Annex redevelopment project has officially topped out. The addition and renovation to the former office building will create 564 apartments and 1,300 square feet of retail space. Built in 1936, by the Department of Agriculture for the classification and standardization of cotton and tobacco, the historic structure had been vacant for over a decade and required significant restoration.
