Developer Brands Mixed-Use Project in Tampa’s Encore District Cass Square
Miami developer LD&D has named its mixed-use development in Tampa’s Encore District Cass Square. The 27-story mixed-use tower will contain a 365-unit luxury apartment tower, DoMo at Cass Square, an 178-key Element by Westin Hotel, and 32,000 square feet of ground level retail space, along with a four-story parking garage with 586 spaces. The Encore district is a 40-acre mixed-use public- private development, a partnership between the Tampa Housing Authority and Banc of America Community Redevelopment Corp. Encore includes affordable and market-rate housing and is located between the urban core and Channel district, close to the future Gas Worx development. The developer has acquired the parcel of land from the development from the Tampa Housing Authority. Construction is expected to begin in Summer 2024, with DoMo at Cass Square the first phase.
