Developer Planning Mixed-Use Project at Lakeforest Mall Site
WRS Real Estate Investments has submitted early plans for the redevelopment of the 102-acre Lakeforest Mall. The project would include around 750 residential units, a mix of townhouses, condos, and apartments along with around 500,00 square or retail and 1,000 parking spaces. The mall was originally constructed in 1978 and WRS purchased the core of the mall, 47-acres in summer 2019 for $22.5M.
