Developers Planning $115 Million Mixed-Use Development in Downtown St. Petersburg
Miami-based developers LD&D and Black Salmon are planning a 23-story mixed-use tower near Tropicana Field on the western side of downtown St. Petersburg. The tower, which will be named Gallery Haus, will include 251 apartment units, 10,000 square feet of amenity and coworking space along with 5,000 square feet of ground level retail space. The developers acquired the land, which is across from Tropicana Field and the site of the planned Historic Gas Plant District development, from Apogee Real Estate Partners for $9.05 million in December 2023. Apogee acquired the land for $2.85 million in May 2022 and had plans, which were approved by the St. Petersburg Development Review Commission, for a mixed-use development named Trails Edge on the site. Construction on Gallery Haus is expected to begin in late 2024.
