Development Team Selected for Columbia Road Dorchester Site
The team of Civico Development & Dream Collaborative has been selected to redevelop 555-595 Columbia Road in Dorchester. Their plans for the site call for 33 workforce homeownership units, along with a 20,000-square-foot library, and a 1,500-square-foot creative studio. The project would offer 1-3 bedroom affordable homes ranging from 70-100% AMI.
Taylor Bearden of Civico tells BLDUP, "Civico and DREAM Collaborative are excited to be tentatively designated to redevelop 555-559 Columbia Road in Upham's Corner. We look forward to working closely with the Dorchester community and the BPDA throughout the development of this project to provide affordable homeownership, creative studio space, and a branch library in partnership with Boston Public Library."
