Elevator Cores Climbing for Old Colony Final Phase
At the final phase of Old Colony project in South Boston, Marr Companies crews installed mast climbing work platforms and scaffolding on two new elevator cores. Marr’s Mast Climber Division installed twin M-Series platforms, connected by bridges, on the exterior of one of the elevator cores. Around the second elevator core, Marr’s Scaffold Division installed a Sectional scaffold work platform built in multiple mobilizations. The Old Colony Redevelopment project phases 4 & 5 will include the one-to-one replacement of 208 affordable apartments.
