Expansion of Broward County Convention Center Taking Shape
Construction crews have made substantial progress at the Broward County Convention Center, framing is progressing, and windows are being installed. The Convention Center is undergoing a major expansion project. The convention center is expanding by 525,000 square feet along with adding a 29-story, four-diamond Omni Hotel. Upon completion, the Convention Center will consist of 1,200,000 square feet, including an 800-room headquarters hotel, with 525,000 square feet of meeting space.
