Facade Work Underway at 509 3rd Avenue
The facade installation process is currently well underway for a topped-out, 35-story, residential tower project, located at 509 3rd Avenue in Manhattan's Murray Hill neighborhood. Windows and cladding materials have now been fitted as high as two-thirds of the way up the structure in some sections.
Developed by , the building is set to contain rental apartments, supplemented by square feet of commercial space. This will likely come in the form of ground-floor retail.
Designed by , the structure stands feet tall and totals square feet. Work was originally estimated to finish by early to mid-2023, but this range has been pushed back and it will now complete sometime this fall. has chosen to oversee the tower's construction in-house, and is therefore serving as the general contractor as well.
