Financing Secured for Carl F. West Estates
NCBA Housing Development Corp. has closed on financing for the Car F. West Estates affordable senior housing development. The funding includes $64M in bonds from DCHFA, $49.6M from D.C.’s Housing Production Trust Fund and $49M in federal Low-Income Housing Tax Credit equity. The development will feature 179 affordable units including 36 uniquely designed “grand-family” units for grandparents raising grandchildren. Onsite amenities will include a concierge, salon, lounge, wellness center, computer & business center, library, fitness & exercise spaces, game & activity rooms and outdoor patio and playground.
