Framing Rising for The Douglass
Pursuing LEED Platinum and ILFI Zero Carbon, The Douglass in Ward 8 of Washington, DC will be one of the most sustainable multifamily buildings in the entire country! Upon completion, this more than 900,000-sf building will be all-electric, and all power for the building will come from renewable sources, including a 200 kW rooftop solar array capable of producing 200 mWh per year of electricity. The all-electric mechanical system will provide enhanced heating and cooling efficiency via a building-wide condenser loop.
