Greystar Planning 3 Building Mixed-Use Project for 3.3 Acre Somerville Site
Greystar has submitted an Environmental Notification Form for the construction of a mixed-use development on approximately 3.33 acres of land located at 20-23 Cummings Street in Somerville's Assembly Square neighborhood. The site is currently made up of surface parking lots, a vacant restaurant space, and an existing hotel. Plans call for three buildings containing approximately 1,254,800 SF of office/lab-enabled uses, 162,500 SF of hospitality space, 11,900 SF of retail/restaurant space, and a 4,000 SF daycare facility. The project will enhance Assembly Square through the transformation of an underutilized site into a destination with cutting-edge labs, inviting civic space, accessible retail, and hospitality space.
