Ground Broken at Phase Four of Liberty Square Redevelopment

Related Group Urban Development, the affordable housing division of Related Group, has broken ground at Serentiy Liberty Square. The fourth phase of the Liberty Square redevelopment, Serenity will offer 193 mixed-income residential units contained in three low-rise buildings. Liberty Square is a master plan to redevelop the 55-acre Miami-Dade County Public Housing site. Liberty Square is located in a mixed-use neighborhood complete with arts and culture, educational facilities, health centers, parks and recreation and more. When all nine phases are complete, the development will contain 1,900 mixed-income residential units. The first three phases, Sunrise Liberty Square, Harmony Liberty Square and Eden Liberty Square, completed between 2019-2022, contain 600 units. Located just minutes from I-95 and conveniently close to Downtown Miami, Miami Beach, Port of Miami, Design District, Midtown, Miami International Airport, Wynwood and the MiMo District. Residents of Liberty Square will have access to a host of new and exciting benefits that include free Wi-Fi, social services, commercial and recreational spaces, up-and-coming retail educational options and community and health centers, along with wide array of exceptional amenities including a children’s playground. In addition, access to the buildings and exterior amenity areas will be secure and accessible by keycard access.
