Lab Space Now Planned for Final Phase of the District in Burlington
National Development has presented modified plans for Phase 3, the final phase of The District in Burlington. With Burlington becoming an emerging life science cluster, 3 new life science buildings are now proposed. The first to feature 190,000 square feet of space and then two existing office buildings at 1200 and 1700 District Avenue would be replaced by two new life science buildings totaling 456,000 square feet. As part of the new plan, the development team would complete the Vine Brook River Walk.
