MidCity Files for 2-Year Extension on Brookland Manor Redevelopment
MidCity has filed a 2-year extension request for the Brookland Manor redevelopment project. Plans call for a 1.9 million mixed-use development on the 20-acre site. The development would include over 1700 residential units with 22% designated affordable. In the filing, MidCity states delays have been caused by 2 unsuccessful legal challenges along with post-pandemic construction & capital markets upheaval. If approved the extension would extend the approvals until August 1st, 2025.
