Mixed-Use Building in Tampa’s Kennedy Corridor Gains Approval
The Tampa City Council unanimously approved plans for a new seven-story mid-rise mixed-use building in the Kennedy Corridor area of Tampa. The development will include 40 residential units along with 6,700 square feet of commercial space. The commercial space will consist of 3,000 square feet of storefront retail space along Kennedy Boulevard and 3,700 square feet of office space. The location, less than two miles west of downtown Tampa, is convenient to residential areas as well as shopping and dining venues. The existing buildings on the site will be demolished, the alley will remain.
