Mixed-Use Development Planned in Fort Lauderdale
Affiliated Development is planning a mixed-use development in Fort Lauderdale that will include workforce housing. The Era Fort Lauderdale will offer 400 residences, 3,650 square feet of retail space and 549 parking spaces. The development will include 210 units designated as workforce housing, 20 units will be reserved for households making up to 80 precent of the area median income, 40 units will be designated for households making up to 100 percent of the area median income and 150 will be designated for households making up to 120 percent of the area median income. Construction is expected to break ground in Summer 2024, a vacant strip mall on the site will be demolished.
