Mixed-Use Development Planned in West Palm Beach
A partnership between Swedish developer Index Investment Group and Verdex Construction Group has plans for a mixed-use development in West Palm Beach. The residential component would offer 470 apartment units, 277 in a 13-story building and 193 units in a 12-story building, 125 of the apartments could be workforce housing. In addition, the development would include 12,000 square feet of retail space and 5,000 square feet of restaurants with 1,000 parking spots in two parking garages. A restaurant will be demolished and a sports complex with rooftop paddle ball and pickle would be built in its place. Plans also include the redevelopment of the existing 65,760-square foot office building on the site.
