Monday Properties Planning Life Science Space at Park Plaza in Rockville
Monday Properties is planning a phased redevelopment of the Park Plaza office property along Gaither Road in Rockville. Plans call for 646,000 square feet of life science uses, to respond to the increasing demand for lab space in the area. The first phase of the project would include the construction of a 223,000-square-foot, 115-foot-high lab and a 7-level parking garage. The existing office buildings on-site the site would then be replaced to create a life science campus featuring 20 percent open area with meaningful outdoor areas for the benefit of the employees.
