Office to 400+ Unit Residential Conversion Approved at The Portals
The DC Zoning Board has approved Lowe Enterprise Real Estate Group's plans for the adaptive reuse of 1250 Maryland Ave. SW within The Portals. The project will transform the 8-story office building into 446 residential units. Plans call for a 3-story addition plus a complete reskinning of the entire building. Multiple balconies and terraces will also be added to take advantage of the site's water views.
