Permits Pulled to Begin Construction for Jefferson Park Modernization in Cambridge
A series of permits have been pulled to begin work on the redevelopment of Jefferson Park in North Cambridge. The development was originally constructed in 1952 and had its last major modernization in 1987. Now plans call for 6 new buildings with 278 units along with expanded amenities like a Bluebike station, a splash pad, grilling and picnic stations, and multiple play areas for children. The project will be constructed in phases with financing for the 1st phase expected to close in the coming months. Construction is expected to last through spring 2027.
