Plans Filed for Constitution Inn Redevelopment

The Planning Office for Urban Affairs and St. Francis House have filed plans for the redevelopment of the six-story building known as Building 150. The development team proposes to renovate the existing building for use as a 100% permanent affordable housing community, with 100 affordable rental units. 52 of the total 100 units will be leased to households earning from 30% to 80% of area median income (AMI) – between $30,000.00- $83,000.00, per year depending on household size and will be aggressively marketed in the Charlestown neighborhood. 48 of the 100 units will be dedicated to the Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) model and are designated as PSH units in the proposed building plans. The existing YMCA fitness and wellness facility will be fully upgraded and refurbished by the YMCA while Building 150 is undergoing renovation.
