Plans Submitted for Apartment Community in Tampa’s Westshore District
Developer Northwood Ravin has submitted plans for a new apartment community. Ravin Independence Park would offer 374 studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments along with 11 townhomes. Plans show that the new complex will be built on a 9.26-acre site in the northwest corner of a 36.2-acre parcel that also includes Independence Park 1, a 135,000 square foot office building. Another apartment community, Novel Independence Park is under construction an the adjacent parcel. The apartments will be contained in three buildings. The leasing office and clubhouse will occupy the ground floor of one apartment building, another building will house a two-story parking garage with apartments above it. The plans also show a pool and courtyard. The location in Tampa’s Westshore Business District is under a mile from Tampa International Airport and is convenient to offices and retail venues.
