A new urban mixed-use phased project is slated for a 34-acre office park in the Skyway Marina District of St. Petersburg.  Skyway Village will be located on the Ceridian campus, located at 3201 34th Street S., which was acquired by Altis Cardinal for $40 million in an all-cash acquisition in December 2021.  Plans call for up to 2,084 multi-family units along with 49,500 square feet of commercial space, 119,160 square feet of self-storage space and 3,572 parking spaces. The residential units will be contained in six five-story buildings with individual parking garages.  The retail component will be anchored by a 23,500-square foot national grocery store and will also include 21,500 square feet of ground level retail space spread across the development and a 4,500 outparcel.  The development plans also include keeping the 125-foot-tall office tower which will be converted into an amenity tower that will include a fitness center, leasing office, co-working space, a pet spa and Sky Lounge with Gulf views. The remainder of the office complex will be demolished. A community meeting with the developers is scheduled for July 10, the project will go before the St. Petersburg Development Review Board on July 12.
