Plans Under Review for Phase 2 of Chevy Chase Lake Project
Updated plans are now under review for Block A, the 2nd phase, of the Chevy Chase Lake development. Plans call for a mixed-use building to include 220 residential units along with up to 19,000 square feet of commercial space. Residential amenities are currently proposed to include a pool, courtyards with sitting and gathering areas, a clubroom, co-working space, and a shared wellness and fitness center. The Connecticut Ave. site is currently improved with a low-rise commercial shopping center, which contains various retail/restaurant uses, a bank with a drive-thru, and a gasoline service station.
