Preliminary Plans Approved for 1.81 Acre Chevy Chase Site
Preliminary plans have been approved for a mixed-use project on a 1.81-acre site located on the west side of Connecticut Avenue approximately ¼- mile south of Jones Bridge Road. The project would feature 19,000 square feet of ground floor non-residential density and up to 220 multi-family dwelling units. The Project is the second phase of a larger overall mixed-use, multi-phase redevelopment known as the Chevy Chase Lake Blocks A, B, and D. The approved Sketch Plan for the development allows for a maximum of 1,526,289 gross square feet, including up to a maximum of 1,385,360 square feet of residential and up to 676,700 square feet of non-residential development.
